Hi, I’m Yvonne, founder of Pine & Paws Pet Care.
Pine & Paws came about pretty organically. I started pet sitting here and there during a difficult time in my life, when being around animals was one of the few things that brought me comfort. They were helping me as much as I was helping them. I quickly came to love getting to know the pets I cared for and knowing I could make someone’s day a little easier. What started as something on the side grew into a business I’m proud of. As more families trusted me with their pets, I realized just how meaningful this work was and how many more people we could help. Today, Pine & Paws is a small but growing team of caregivers who share that same commitment to thoughtful, dependable care.
We believe in care that goes beyond checking off the basics. Of course, pets need to be fed, exercised, and looked after, but they also need enrichment, patience, consistency, and someone who notices the little things. To us, their emotional well-being matters just as much as their physical well-being. We want the pets in our care to feel safe, calm, happy, and healthy.
We keep their routines as familiar as possible, give them plenty of attention, and, yes, probably spoil them a little along the way. We love earning the trust of a cautious pet and seeing their excitement when they see us again. Becoming one of their trusted humans is one of the best parts of what we do.
We believe in caring for both ends of the leash. Our job isn’t only about caring for pets. It’s about caring for the people who love them, too. Life gets busy. Sometimes you need help while you’re working or traveling, or when life throws you a curveball. Whatever the reason, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between taking care of yourself and giving your pet the quality of life they deserve.
We get to care for animals who bring so much joy and unconditional love into our lives, while giving their people a little more freedom, flexibility, and peace of mind.

We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, so you can feel confident knowing that both your pets and your home are in safe, capable hands. Each team member is carefully vetted, screened, and selected not only for their experience, but for their kindness, integrity, and genuine love for animals.
We are proud members of Pet Sitters International, the leading educational association for professional pet sitters. As members, we stay informed on best practices, safety standards, and ethical standards in professional pet care. We’ve also completed pet first aid training through the American Red Cross as part of our commitment to safety and preparedness.
